British Sign Language (Scotland) Act 2015
To support the British Sign Language (Scotland) Act 2015, we have been working closely with the Scottish Government and the British Sign Language (BSL) community. We are on the BSL National Advisory Group, representing Scottish institutions, and the Non-departmental Public Bodies Equality Forum.
British Sign Language National Plan
We will work with partners and institutions as the Scottish Government finalises and launches its British Sign Language (BSL) National Plan.
We encourage our institutions to support staff, students, parents, carers, relevant partners and members of BSL communities throughout Scotland to respond to the consultation and to work with the BSL community to create their own BSL plans.
There will be a number of consultation events taking place around Scotland. If you would like more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or refer to the Deaf Sector Partnership (DSP) website or Facebook page.
