Quality, Equalities & General Purposes Committee
The key purposes of this Committee are as follows:
- oversee the Council's statutory function to ensure that provision is made for assessing and enhancing the quality of fundable further and higher education provided by fundable bodies, taking account of the Council's related statutory duty to secure coherent provision of a high quality of further and higher education;
- oversee the Council and the executive in relation to the Council's equality and diversity agenda, as reflected in the Council's single Equality Scheme; and
- oversee the functioning of the executive on behalf of the Council.
