Professor Albert Rodger

Professor Albert Rodger is Vice Principal (External Affairs) at the University of Aberdeen.

Albert is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has been awarded the John Logie Baird Award for Innovation and the Silver Medal of the Royal Academy of Engineering for his research into geotechnical dynamics which has led to patented and licensed inventions.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and a director the National Subsea Research Institute.

Albert's appointment to SFC runs from 3 October 2009 until 2 October 2013.
