Measuring progress

Regional access events

We are holding five regional events this year for informal discussion and consultation on our access-related policies in a regional setting. We want as many local stakeholders as possible to participate so we encourage representatives from local authorities, schools, colleges, universities, employers and children’s support groups to attend.

Further information, including presentations from the event and how to register for future events.

Widening access

Scotland’s Fair Access Conference

Our annual joint national conference with the NUS Scotland, previously called Learning for All, is a good-practice sharing event looking at progress in widening access to further and higher education.

This year's event was on 20 June at Perth Concert Hall. See the event programme and presentations.

Learning for All reports

Our first Learning for All report was published in 2005 following a review of access activity and research across the Scottish college and university sectors. We established a range of measures which would help us determine if we have been successful in taking effective action to address the core causes.

Earlier Learning for All reports are available on the SFC archive.
