Business & industry

Interactions between Scotland's business community and the colleges and universities in which we invest are crucial to the future economic wellbeing of our country.

Connecting with business

Businesses that build relationships with colleges and universities create a competitive edge not only for themselves but for the wider Scottish economy. Those involved in teaching and research benefit greatly from collaboration with businesses.  Learners who gain experience of the workplace during their studies enhance both their employment prospects and life experiences.

With so much to gain it's important that we use our strategic position as a funding council to develop these activities and to promote a greater understanding of current and future possibilities in this area.
