Sustainable Development: Halfway There?
The conference opened by taking stock of the progress made to date by Scotland's universities and colleges. Discussion themes included:
- effective teaching practices for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD);
- strategies for institutional change;
- the obligation on educational institutions to provide leadership;
- the value of inter-disciplinary approaches to ESD; and
- the impact of sustainable estates on student learning.
