Space management
The UK funding councils set up a Space Management Group (SMG) in 2001 to consider the issues surrounding the management of space and to advise the sector on this issue. The SMG is chaired by David Chiddock, Vice Principal, Lincoln University.
Consultants have been appointed to work on the development of a model which will assist institutions to optimise funding, planning and management of the estate. Further details of the project, membership of the SMG, schedule of meetings, minutes and other information is available at www.smg.ac.uk.
