Employability & enterprise
A key objective in the SFC Corporate plan 2009-12 [PDF] is to enhance the relevance of skills and the employability of people wishing to enter the workforce.
SFC's strategy for promoting employability flows from its discussion paper, Learning to work [PDF] which was published in November 2004 and the associated implementation plan, published in Employability: Implementation Plan for Learning to Work (Circular SFC/12/2006, 10 March 2006: see SFC archive).
The Skills Committee is responsible for monitoring the implementation plan.
