SPIRIT strategic competition 2009-12
Demand-driven knowledge exchange proposals for Strategic Priority Investments in Research and Innovation Translation (SPIRIT)
On 15 May 2009, SFC announced a call for strategic knowledge exchange proposals under its SPIRIT grant. Full details are available from the circular SFC/19/2009 [PDF].
A total of 29 proposals were received and, following an assessment process, ten projects were considered fundable and commenced in May 2010. The table below provides details of the ten projects. Project profiles are also available from SFCPR/05/2010 [PDF]. SFC funding for these projects is for three years over the period 2009-12.
Independent evaluation of the SPIRIT programme
SFC has commissioned Public and Corporate and Economic Consultants (PACEC) to conduct an independent evaluation of the SPIRIT programme over the funding period. The learning outcomes of this evaluation will be used to enhance the learning of project teams and future SFC investments of this type.
