Kilmarnock College students get ready for work

Kilmarnock College's 'Get Ready for Work' programme, delivered in partnership with Skills Development Scotland and Careers Scotland, is aimed at disengaged young people between the ages of 16 and 19 looking to gain the necessary skills needed for employment.

The 26-week course requires no formal entry qualifications, and covers Customer Care, IT, Team Building, Food Hygiene and First Aid.

Many of the students go on to apply for courses within Kilmarnock College, including NQ Hairdressing and NQ Sports and Fitness. The College also supports those looking for jobs.
