SNEC helps Oatridge College gallop ahead

The Scottish National Equestrian Centre (SNEC) is situated on the campus of Oatridge College in West Lothian and provides the college's equine students with superb facilities and the opportunity to see leading riders and trainers in action.

The Centre has regular club nights to introduce new and young riders to a variety of equestrian disciplines, and intensive training nights, which will develop into a Youth Academy for the brightest prospects.

The SNEC is supported by the Scottish Equestrian Association (SEA), the umbrella body for equestrianism in Scotland.

Construction of the SNEC was a part of a rolling development programme for the college campus which in 2007 saw the opening of a £3.5 million Learning Centre, part-financed by the Council, providing 14 new classrooms, lecture rooms, laboratory and IT suite, and new
£1.5 million farriery and engineering workshops.
