Stirling University student and SFC-funded Winning Students scholar Duncan Scott has become the most decorated Scottish athlete at a single games with his total of six medals.
Duncan, who is studying Business and Sport, took gold in the 100m freestyle and silver in the individual medley to add to his four bronze medals.
Team Scotland’s swimmers bagged a total of nine medals, including those won by former Winning Students scholars Ross Murdoch and Hannah Miley, who both won silver medals on the opening night of the games.
There are 29 current Winning Students scholars and 37 former Winning Students on Team Scotland for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
