Caroline Stuart

A Technology and Business Studies graduate, Caroline initially worked in the City of London where she trained as an Investment Analyst and worked for Crown Agents and Charterhouse Bank.

She returned to Scotland and ran three companies before moving into business consultancy and then joining Oracle as a global industry advisor for 16 years. She is now an Independent Consultant/Director and NXD.

She sits on various Boards and Committees including Scottish Funding Council, The Data Lab, the Scottish Government’s Digital Scotland Business Excellence Board, Make Maths Count Commission and the Scottish Police Authority. In February 2022, Caroline became Chair of Dumfries and Galloway College.

Caroline's re-appointment is from 4 October 2019 to 3 October 2023.
