How we operate: Publishing financial information
The Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 requires public bodies such as the Scottish Funding Council to publish information on expenditure following each financial year.
This requirement includes expenditure relating to public relations, overseas travel, hospitality and entertainment and external consultancy and payments in excess of £25,000.
Guidelines and definitions of terms are available from the Scottish Government.
SFC expenditure is made public in our annual report and accounts. A separate account of our monthly payments over £25,000 is also maintained for public information.
Monthly expenditure over £25,000
We publish this information on a monthly basis in our Monthly spend reports.
If you have an enquiry about any payment line please email finance@sfc.ac.uk with Publication of items of expenditure over £25,000 and the month to which your request relates as the subject line, as well as details of the payee, amount, description of the expenditure, and the line number it appears on.
