FOCUS West Emma CairnsFOCUS West has been pivotal for me in terms of looking at higher education; had I not been involved in the program I doubt I would have considered universities outside of Scotland, never mind the best universities in the world. The support the FOCUS West team has provided is launching me into an entirely new sector of my life that would not have been achievable otherwise. There is nothing that opens up access to higher education like this in Scotland, and the confidence and skills that the program gives to students sets them up for life.
